You mean a Nintendo64 emulator for the Wii? Probably never. The Wii isn't powerful enough.. Was there even an N64 emulator for the XBox? I doubt it.

There's a version of Project64 and other N64 emulators for the XBOX. There's a front-end called Surreal64 that is used to select the emulator/plugin, etc.

I'm not sure why you would say that there would never be a N64 emulator for the Wii. Games such as Ocarina of Time were running on the Cube with a special emulator.

This is really hard for me to take
The Wii is like 10 years after the N64, its impossible that it can't run 64 Games.
I mean the gamecube is so powerful the N64 is nothing next to it.
N64 games are like 20 mb , gamecube gamesis like 1.36 GB

technology jump from 96 to 2002 is very huge, from blocky models and plain 3D environments
to beautiful smooth models and detailed environments.

What the hell are you talking about? They commercially emulate N64 games on the system. Hell, people even ripped the emulator from the Gamecube Zelda OoT disc, and used it to run all the other roms. Surely, the same can happen for the Wii.

The Wii homebrew scene has certainly flourished since the last time I checked it out. I only subscribe to the DS scene's RSS feeds so I have no idea what's going on with other platforms. Very interesting..

Check this out if you feel like enhancing your N64 gaming experience. Too bad the finished hires texture packs are so few. Does anyone have an updated INI entry for Sin & Punishment to minimise glitching under Rice video?
