Well I wanted the web browser and it wasnt on 1.5. I meant to say UMD. I have 3.74 now. And ordered the Pandora with magic stick. It was cheap so now big deal.

You upgraded your 1.5? Really bad move, pandora will save you in the end and hopefully this post will beware others! My psp is from the 1.5 era so I kinda miss those times when there was no custom firmware and everything was complicated.
Well as I say to everyone, having the latest custom firmware is only useful when that one thing they fix or updated is of interest to you, I used to update on the spot as new things were released but now I'm on 3.80 M33-5 since it came out and having fun with Crisis Core.
Anybody remember any big changes from 3.8 to 5 worthwhile for a phat psp? They finally improved the volume? Better video compatibility so I don't have to re-encode everything? Has sony learned anything yet?

Dumb move budday!
Using custom firmware has virtually no downsides, unless you're Korean (pretty sure the language pack is removed to make space for other stuff). Shoulda read the internet for a few minutes before causing a lot of hassle for yourself. Upgrading to 5.xx CFW only would've taken a few minutes.
