Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I don't believe for a second paypal will remove money from your account and do any sort of refund on your behalf. He is coming up with a bunch of bs to get you to give in and refund the game for him.

Paypal will do this, but only if there is a dispute that was escalated to a claim and then he doesn't respond. Since that obviously won't happen, he's fine.

His latest response:
i'm not saying you sold the game knowing it was a dud what i'm saying is if i'd have bought this from a retailer i would be taking it back for a refund or replacement . Never mind if you have a place of purchase i will take it back to them if not don't worry
Looks like the guy has finally calmed down and seen sense. At least he isnt gonna cause me a load of grief over this. I agree that the frame drops are jarring, particulary when using the SMG I thought, but not really enough to spoil the game, for me at least

Thanks, its just a bit irritating that he vents at me over something that isnt my fault.

Does anybody know of a reasonable alternative to ebay for buying retro games? I'm in the UK and I mainly buy not sell so I dont mind if there are fewer visitors bidding, that suits me. I think this guy is just one moron to far.

For last generation games.
http://www.cex.co.uk/ is worth checking out.
http://www.tradeyourstuff.co.uk is an okay site but I have a strong feeling they are running out of someone's bedroom.

for older games.
http://www.oxfam.org.uk/shop/default.aspx is worth checking now and again

Cheers for the links.

For a quick update, I got a reply back from sega about this issue:
Hi there,

My apologies for the delay in replying to your mail.

I'm not aware of any issues as stated but if you plan to refund the buyer and find there is an issue with the game, please contact us again and we can arrange for it to be sent in to use for testing and where necessary replacement.

Regards

SEGA Europe
Which I thought was faily good of them to offer that, and proves that ebay buyer was talking absolute shit
