Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition (SNES) - The gameplay footage I saw of this game was pretty intriguing, as the graphics looked great for the SNES. I had a chance to already beat and review the single player mode and I really liked this one!

Coincidentally, I played Fighting Edition yesterday. It's one of my favourite fighting games on the SNES. Well done for beating it. Lord Zedd kicked my ass yesterday. If I remember correctly, if you beat him, then you face Ivan Ooze who os even tougher. I can't remember if you face Rita as well. It's a great game anyways.

That's funny you played MMPR: The Fighting Edition recently, Reprise. I agree that it's a really good fighting game on the SNES. It's too bad it took me so long to finally try it, but I'm glad I did! In regard to the single player mode, you do fight Ivan Ooze after defeating Lord Zedd.

I'm curious about getting Gundam Wing: Endless Duel now, since I read it's a spiritual successor to MMPR: The Fighting Edition. The graphics on that game look awesome too.

I'm curious about getting Gundam Wing: Endless Duel now, since I read it's a spiritual successor to MMPR: The Fighting Edition. The graphics on that game look awesome too.

That's actually one of the reasons I was playing MMPR Fighting Edition. I picked up Endless Duel a couple of weeks ago and was comparing the two. Endless Duel definitely seems to be more refined and impressive, but I still think I possibly prefer MMPR. Part of that is just bias, as I loved Power Rangers as a kid, but they also seemed to have got rid rid of the system of timing your special attacks to power up your special bar, and I quite liked that system in MMPR. Both are awesome games though and worth playing. I can definitely recommend Endless Duel if you can find it for a decent price.
