AEW News: Former WWE Star Facing Criminal Charges Stemming From 2023 Incident

Oh, and more of my thoughts on the Scott D'Amore thing, it feels like corporations are taking over pro wrestling. Bushiroad fires Rossy Ogawa. Anthem fire Scott D'Amore. TKO puts The Rock in charge of WWE booking and creative (maybe not officially, but clearly Triple H isn't calling the shots right now)

None of this bodes well. Corporate decisions are never what's best for the product and are absolutely NEVER in the best interest of fans and consumers.

Fun Dynamite

Yes, Mercedes is obviously happening. Now just bring in Kamille and you've got your Jade Cargill replacement.

One of the smoothest transitions I have ever seen.

Really impressed with how Big Bill has turned his life and career around. Impact took a chance on him and did really well there. Now in AEW, he is quietly growing as a worker.

"He thought that it's time, you know, to spend some more money, try go after more talent. Try to build this thing up...

...and the Anthem people were kind of like 'we don't wanna increase the budget' and maybe even wanted to cut back on the budget, but definitely didn't wanna increase the budget. And it was just a stand-off and that's kinda what happened.

He'd always been trying to get a bigger budget and he'd always been rebuffed."

This I need to see. It's either going to be absolutely terrible or hilarious

So I agree on Big Bill being awesome. He's been a solid addition to AEW. He's someone who I didn't really care much about when they brought him in. I had seen a little bit of his work in TNA, but nothing that really grabbed me. He's definitely found himself in AEW though

I wonder about Enzo, as both both Bill and Carmella are doing well these days while I don't hear much about Enzo. Last I heard I think he was in MLW.

There was a hilarious moment last night where Hangman got put on a table for a spot...and the table just collapsed

Swerve was like, "What the fuck?!", so he went under the ring and got another table and got a loud pop from the crowd.

I see people saying Hangman went heel last night, which is weird because nothing that he did is out of character given his history with Swerve. I don't think he went heel at all. Wrestling is weird. The line between good and bad is always a blurry one in the world of wrestling. AEW's main event scene is really good right now, there's no one in it that I can't stand like Punk or Cody. I just can't wait for the title to come off Storm so I can say the same thing about the women's division, which is a fucking joke right now because of her.

Those guys from CMLL are fucking crazy. The shit they pulled off is mind blowing. There was a little sloppiness here and there as one can expect when you have luchadores trying to do insanely athletic maneuvers, but it was still a great match. Invasion angles are tricky, WWE messed up perhaps the greatest invasion angle of all time, but this CMLL vs AEW feud has been fun

Cassidy vs Ishi is gonna be crazy. It would be so awesome if Okada just happened to be sitting in the crowd. Kahn gets criticized for just throwing matches together, but it does sometimes lead to really interesting match ups like this one.

It's official. Wrestlemania is going to suck. AEW Revolution will be better than that shit show

I hope Storm drops the title to Purrazzo as having her fight Mercedes would just be laughable at this point. Mercedes needs a real opponent, not the AEW female equivalent of R Truth. This is the third fucking time we'd had to suffer through a shitty Toni Storm title run and it better be the last
