I prefer the clamshells for this purpose. One way or another, repro gear can fall into hands who may even unknowingly pass it off as original.

With Pseudo Saturn coming out, I've seen full on fake Saturn games. Disc burn, disc artwork, repro case, & case artwork. Fine print says "works on mod chip or Pseudo saturn" ... ouch. I don't even buy expensive games anymore. Too much of a risk.

I do love the Etsy fan translation efforts. Some folks don't like sellers are making money on others translation efforts, which I 100% understand. Usually these projects never get a true physical release. It's obvious this was never a US release and can't be confused as a legit copy. I'd prefer the translation group get some type of royalty. I have this digital file, but would enjoy owning this:

...repro boxes are cool imo, I use them from time to time especially for GBC/GBA and cardboard Genesis games. I've also found some plastic replacement cases that I like to use for loose N64 carts as well.
