So I spend quite a bit of time listening to video game soundtracks when I'm working, studying, and etc. I still don't own too many, but my favorites are generally from the 16-bit era especially the Genesis games that show what the system can really do. A lot of the more modern soundtrack work is really good as well. Thinking over soundtracks that stay in rotation are:
Classic
Streets of Rage 1 & 2
E-SWAT
Revenge of Shinobi
Shinobi III
F-Zero
Final Fantasy III
Donkey Kong Country 1 - 3
Thunder Force III - V
Ecco the Dolphin
Super Mario World
Megaman 1 - 8
Megaman X - X4
Bloodlines
Symphony of the Night
Modern
Shovel Knight
Mass Effect Trilogy
Hollow Knight
Dragon Age Inquisition
Megaman 9 - 11
Dust: An Elysian Tail
Skyrim
Streets of Rage 4
Dustforce
Ultra Street Fighter IV
...anyone else have any favorites? I'd like to get to the point of actually buying OSTs but just haven't gotten around to it just yet.

You've listed some of mine already, so let me see what I can add
As far as modern games go:
13 Sentinels has some amazing music. I never finished that game. I want to go back to it at some point and do so as I really like Vanillaware and think Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir and 13 Sentinels are probably their best games. The remake of Odin Sphere is far better than Dragon's Crown even though Dragon's Crown seem to be the more popular game, but I digress. Here's a few tracks from 13 Sentinels
As for Mega Man X games, man some of the fan made ones in progress already have some great tracks
I like to listen to game soundtracks in the background while I work, but also only own a few. I mostly listen to soundtracks from from the 16-bit era and 32-bit era, with some of my favorites listed below. Interested to read other favorites or recommendations I might've missed!

Better in-game as it's very dynamic, with different elements of tracks coming in as you do better, where the soundtrack album is specific mixes.
Final Fantasy XIV
One of the channels with most/all tracks (I think?)
But since that's around 450, some selections...
