GameFAQs Best Game Ever Poll

I'd argue Starcraft betters Soul Calibur pretty handily. It's an older game with a broad fan base that just won't quit. You never see that game in the bargain bins.

Starcraft has been in the bargain bins for years. It just never stops refilling them.

We're definitely not large enough in numbers for something like that. GameFAQs is monstrous compared to this site. Some single message boards on GameFAQs have more activity in them in a single day than this site does in a month, never mind ALL the activity on GameFAQs. Also, the nominations are over anyway.

I pulled out my NES games the other day and was happy to find Yo! Noid in there. Best video game for an obscure mascot ever.

For all of you "obscure winner" guys you should check out votefortheworst.com. I'm not saying your choices are bad or anything, but these guys go around voting for the "underdog" in voting competitions. L Block won because of these clowns.

Call me new to the internet, but I had no idea that GameFAQs did the poll thing so regularly. Never really paid much attention to GameFAQs before.

To me, an authentic poll with so many votes seems really interesting. Not for me to vote for OMFG THE BEST GAME EVARRR!!, but to see the results. (Plus I like the playoff bracket system.)

I didn't think this thread would inspire such negativity. You guys need to all go and have sex or something to expel your angry demons.

And I do think that Soul Caliber is better Starcraft. The only real strategy game I've really enjoyed was Civ 2, though, so my opinion is biased.
