i thought JSRF was just as good as the original, except the character designs were a little too funny for my taste the game was tight, soundtrack just as good, if not better than the original. they need to bring this IP back!

Check out IGN Retro's article on JSR: Wii and how the developer with all the necessary resources (funding etc..) was denied the opportunity to develop either a Wii port of the original or a new sequel.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

Has anyone noticed that if you change your BGM song that you'll hear different songs throughout the game?

I might be trippin', but I recall only hearing 4-5 songs throughout the entire game. I heard different tracks when I changed my BGM songs again though.
