I still watch the Bulls, and still root for them when they play. But its just not the same when you looked up to these guys for so many years and the "AND YOUR CHICAGO BULLS!!!" still thunders through your mind and ears like it was yesterday. But its just not the same excitement. Back in the 80's and 90's the rivals were epic. I miss seeing the NBA on NBC, on saturday afternoons and sunday evenings (the Great games came on Sunday evenings). Good ol Marv albert, Bob Costas! When the Bulls would play the Knicks , a hatred would just come over me for John Starks and Anthony Mason and Patrick Ewing. Cause in my eyes they were the villans, and they played to hurt the heroes. And when the Bulls would win oh man i was set for that week until the next sunday came along and the next battle began. There are just so many moments that stick out in my mind that came from that era, that it just makes me wish we could relive those moments of epic battles over and over again.

The only problem with this is that the 90s Bulls made NBA basketball bigtime. They made it a must watch sport. All of the current TV deals and exposure can be tied to the success of that team. In the NHL however, the Devils completely killed the sport, made the game so boring no one watched anymore, they lost all of their exposure, and almost killed the league.
True but I was raised in Jersey in the 90's so for those few years it lasted it was great.

Hell yeah! I'm Hackettstown, NJ born and raised. We've got some of the best thrift shops for retro, M&M Mars, and Devils fans. 8)
