i'm not sure what version you're playing, but in the wii version it looks like you only get a score for finishing b/c it also records the time it took.

Yeah, Wii version. I also noticed the score table had "clear time" on it, which was why I assumed you needed to clear it in order to get the score registered.

are you playing on normal mode? and how long has it taken you to get to the final boss? just curious.
