Now your post is accurate because Switch has quite a few great exclusives already with another great one in a couple weeks.

I'm not saying anything negative about the Switch, and I don't want to skew the topic that way. I am sure playing Valkyria Chronicles 4 on the Switch could be fun. It's nice to see this series returning.

Sheeeeeet, I still need to play the first one. I plan on getting the PS4 version. I remember my friend showing me the first game... like 10 years ago when it was new or something and it looked amazing. Been on my radar since and now there's four games.

These better than Fire Emblem?

There's enough separation in the genres of the two to make it not a great comparison. Fire Emblem is about careful positioning to funnel enemies into advantageous match ups. Valkyria Chronicles is about planning out a route so that your units do not suffer too much damage in real time while allowing you to take out enemy soldiers on your path, while being ever conscious of the potential hard counters (guns not so good against tank armor) and having a good setup after your turn to counter enemy movements in real time.

Really excited for this, though I'm still hoping some of the cast from the original game will show up (they were just very likable in my book).

And yeah the switch is an amazing fit for this game. Looking forward to exclusive Nintendo themed costumes
