A quick warning: I'm not sure exactly how Kiwami will handle modifying the original Yakuza 1, but the newer games have far more silliness and diversions than the earlier ones. Yakuza 1 especially takes itself quite seriously, outside of the at times crazy combat, and aside from adding in the "anywhere Majima" thing that I think 0 had, I haven't heard of any extreme changes to Kiwami outside of putting it in the 0-engine.strangenova wrote:Been playing Yakuza 0. I'm about 45 hours in and i'm just now hitting the halfway mark for story chapters and i'm still finding new minigames to try out. I've always slept on this series, but over the last year of seeing people on here posting about it, I figured i'd give it a shot. I'm so glad that I did too, I've already paid up for my copy Yakuza Kiwami steelbook edition that comes out in a few weeks. What really gets me about this game is the gripping narrative, i'm usually a gameplay first kind of player, not that there is anything wrong with the gameplay here, but this game's story has me glued to the screen everytime I get to a new cutscene. All the side content makes sure that I don't burn out on the game either.
Glad to see Xeo and I have brought another into the fold of the church of Yakuza though

Saints Row 2 continues to improve on literally almost everything SR1 did wrong. Still no way to abandon an activity in the middle though. That's still pretty fucking bullshit how that STILL isn't in the game.
