Not sure. I got the impression from most of the stores I called that new PS2 releases from this point forward must be preordered if you want to purchase "in store." If no one has preordered the game, the store will not receive any copies.
I will probably order from Amazon later tonight. But it does kind of piss me off. I have an issue with my postal carrier. He likes to leave things at my door step... I live in a busy apartment complex. He's too lazy to take things to the complex office, I guess.
And I'm off work "today." I have money "today." I would like to buy the game "today." I would like to play the game "today."

Re: Samurai Shodown Anthology
Every account I have read states that it is a direct port of the Japanese Rokuban Shoubu, which has nearly arcade perfect emulation.
I have a feeling that Terminal Reality was commissioned to do the original Samurai Shodown Anthology port. The result was probably sub par and after the backlash from the no-so-great Orochi Saga US release, SNK Playmore scrapped what may have been Terminal Reality's SSA project. Which is why we now have what seems to be a direct port of Rokuban Shoubu in the US and Europe. It would also explain some of the delays.
The above paragraph is just a theory of mine. But consider this: the Japanese Orochi Saga was released in Japan with only KOF 95' - 97' included. Terminal Reality was commissioned to "redo" the release for the US. Terminal Reality remade the Saga and included 94' and 98'. Samurai Shodown Rokuban Shoubu from Japan is missing Samurai Shodown V Special. SNK Playmore initially advertised the US release would contain V Special along with the other games. Now that Samurai Shodown Anthology is working its way into US and European hands, it is now known that V Special is NOT included. The menus and options in SSA are also exactly the same as Rokuban Shoubu.
I know... I rambled a bit there... Read it a few times, I promise it will make sense.

Wrd. I'll be glad to have a near perfect port of SSII in my hands, though.
