Samurai Shodown Anthology
Samurai Shodown Anthology
Any info on this? Like what games are on it? It would be nice if it had the Japan only Samurai Shodown that came out on PS2.

Which system is it coming out on? I haven't heard about this yet, and I refuse to google anything today.

Re: Samurai Shodown Anthology
I would approach this anthology with cautious optimism. If it ends up being a port of the Japanese SS Anthology it should be near arcade perfect. However, if it is a complete rebuild and port (like KOF's Orochi Saga in the US), things could be very bad.
edit: I have heard horrible things about the PSP release.

Nice....the ps2 version will be the one for me too. hopefully the emulation on the earlier titles will be good. I was a bit diapointed in the SNK Classics collection release last year. I'd rather play SS on MAME, becasue the controls just felt off on the ps2 version. I'd love to play some SS 3 though....thats a fun game I never got to play much in the arcade.Ack wrote:PS2, PSP, Wii. Careful where you say that, SS3 seems to be the one that causes division between the fans. You either love it or hate it. Personally, I enjoyed it, but I know some guys on here really didn't.
