So what have you guys been watching lately?

Spellbinder Season 2 - Land of the Dragonlord.

Take the well established "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" storyline, put it in Australia in the early 90s where a clever kid falls into an alternative world, aka Poland, and has to save it from the selfappointed dictators since they have magic suits that run on technology that they have forgotten how they work. Season 1 was amazing as a preteen/teen, but it held up as an adult when I watched it last year.

Season 2 came out three years later and I honestly did not know about it until a few years ago. It takes the series to a different plane that is badly stereotypical 70s Asian. Including a child godking that is childish, super computers, lots of jade things, and spears with points that make no sense. I am six episodes in and the story has already gone off the rails a dozen times. The story is serviceable, but I fear it will not recover. Sadly it is mostly known outside of Australia because the Chinese lead Anthony Wong was Ghost in Matrix 2 and 3, while the main characters older brother, Ryan Kwaten, is in Trueblood.

I fully recommend Spellbinder Season 1 for anyone who has kids who like adventure stories. Sadly the DVDs are stupid expensive, and R4. But luckily quality dvd rips have popped up on youtube:

In my strange quest to watch every episode of 80s shows I enjoyed as a kid, I just finished the first season of the A-Team. Yep, that was a thing that I did.

Yesssss. I loved A-Team as a kid. Used to "play" A-Team with my brother and twin cousins. I always wanted to be Hannibal, but he and B.A. were locked down by the twins. My bro totally fit Murdock, so that left me as Face. :P

Well, at least I was the good-looking one. ;)

Murdock legit made me laugh out loud during a few episodes. His goofy antics have aged well.

I wonder if Fresh Prince, Boy Meets World, Full House, and Saved by the Bell hold up at all. Those were some of the big ones for me.

I googled "90's sitcoms" and just saw Just Shoot Me... totally forgot about that one, though one of my friends and I watched it a lot.

And as a bonus, you can also see him in Star Trek: TNG! :) (As a different character, of course.)

What's interesting is that I never watched the original Battlestar Galactica, so I never knew until rather recently that Dirk Benedict (Face) was in that show as Starbuck.

they don't really hold up outside of nostalgia. But they're still fun. Stuff like Cheers to me is "holds up" tier. Then again, I don't know if I'm the best judge on 90's media as I tend to prefer a lot of it to most other stuff. Remember my wife and I binged 90210 and are currently watching Dawson's Creek and loving it. We still watch Buffy regularly. I don't know. Maybe that Fresh Prince, Boy Meets World, Full House, and Saved By The Bell aren't even fun. OR MAYBE I'm the best judge EVER!

Oh. And what about News Radio? That show was great.

First season of "Emerald City" wrapped up on Friday.

Currently watching "Feud: Bette and Joan" and just wow! Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are excellent as Joan Crawford (my only basis is Faye Dunaway's portrayal from Mommie Dearest) and Bette Davis (never seen a Bette Davis film), respectively.

Haven't found myself a new show yet... I keep starting things and getting bored. Don't know if I'm just going to go back to Trailer Park Boys, or if I'm going to try getting into some more Sci-Fi stuff.

On the sitcoms, I don't know if it is available for y'all, but my parents get a channel called Laff (or some similar total misspelling) thats practically nothing but old sitcoms. We watch it way more than I'd like to admit.

Been binge watching timeless. Pretty good show about time travel/history that hooked me from the get go. As a fan of sliders and quatom leap, this one seems alot better.

Catching up on banshee season 3. Does anyone else watch this show? I believe there was only 4 seasons. Best show no one ever talks about in my opinion.

Since nobody else has mentioned it. Fucking sucks imdb shut down their message boards. First place I went to after watching a movie and/or new tv episode. I went to the boards for reviews or questions concerning the movie/show. Stupid move imho.
