People talk about 2007 and other years
Re: The stuff from 10 years ago thread: 2017 edition
Shoot, 2007 was my last year of college, so I spent it focusing almost entirely on classes and wrapping up my History minor. I was also prepping for grad school, so I took the GRE that year. I don't even remember what I was playing at the time.

2007 was a pretty shit year for me. Those first post-college years were all pretty bad, defined by living in my parents' basement neckbeard-style and working multiple shit jobs, but 2007 was especially ass. I was separated from my (eventual) wife for awhile and had a terrible terrible "girlfriend" that was just a heapload of trouble.
I don't even remember "doing anything" during that time except dragging myself to various places of employment and spending all night fucking about on the computer. As far as video games go, I only had a NES, Game Boy, and SNES and they were all stashed away in the closet. Played a lot of emulated stuff though, mainly SNES games with a Super SmartJoy adapter. I think it was around this time that I discovered The 7th Saga, Breath of Fire II, and other notable RPGs I had missed out on as a kid. Don't think I've ever really played much of anything released in 2007, I would like to get to Super Mario Galaxy someday.

Sorry. I tend to read threads from finish to start.

Your directions were terrible; the stories are more fun.
