People talk about 2007 and other years

Post by noiseredux »

I saw an interesting post on another forum where a member was playing a bunch of games from 10 years prior. So that sort of inspired this thread, but for funsies I want to take it a step further. Consider this thread a time machine of sorts.

In this thread please post about games you're playing from 2007; movies you're watching from 2007; albums you're listening to from 2007... and so on.

Do you even thread right, bro?

It's not quite ten years old, but I'm thinking about playing Spore this year.

Um... My macbook is from 2007.

Lots listed here though they don't list Wings of the Goddess so, clearly not complete D:<

I, too, own a 2007 Macbook...but I'm no longer actively using it. My 360 is the Elite model, which came out that year.

2007 means:
Orange Box
Rockband
Call of Duty 4
Bioshock
Mario Galaxy
Assassins Creed
etc

I will make it a point to finish UT3 and Command and Conquer 3 this year. But I am sticking with my 80s action movies. Screw 2007 movies...

I hear you. I'm still watching/playing/reading/listening to lots of 90's stuff. Which is no different than most years of my life.

Anyway guys, instead of just listing titles I was hoping more for like... if you're not sure what to play some day, pick a game from 2007 and then talk about it here. Not sure what to watch? How about a 2007 movie - and then talk about it here. Sort of decade-ago nostalgia discussion experiment thing.

Released in February of 2017 to a public waiting more than 5 years for it. Myst Online: Uru Live was finally launched on the online streaming game service, Gametap. This saw URU becoming an mmo with thousands of players exploring the ancient ruins of dni, solving puzzles together and roleplaying with a robust gm team that played with players and mimicked the sad financial realities of cyan games as the D'ni Restoration Council struggled to keep the cavern open while working on tons of new content... much of which we never got to see.
