I have an interest in Bloodborne, Until Dawn. I think there's enough out and coming out that it's going to be nice. I don't know if Microsoft is doing enough to entice me with the Scorpio.
Do we know if those Yakuza games are definitely coming out here? (Also I thought Yakuza 0 was a PS3 game, thought I could easily be wrong O.o) I keep forgetting to try out the ones I have XP
All announced during PSX to be coming to PS4. Kiwami is a remake of the first game. Yakuza 5 was the PS3 exclusive that took some lobbying to get to the west, but it came out in 2015 for us on PSN.
Do you like nonsensical, over-the-top violence, set in Japan? It involves tons of machismo tropes that aren't rooted in reality. But they're fun running around, getting into weird situations that often involve organized crime, and some grandiose scheme with lots of plot twists.
Yes Yakuza's are coming and I'm buying day 1, signed the petition for Yakuza 5 glad that panned out (if only we can get Timesplitters). But yea PS4 PSX nailed the coffin for MS, shit I'd say it's even disrupting The Switch somewhat although I will be getting it launch day. It's so good now you can actually start reading back of boxes to see if you like a game cause there's that much to choose from.
I game on everything so being non biased, this could be sonys greatest era if it ain't already.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
Buying the Slim for 100$ less than the Pro makes absolutely zero sense. I have no idea why Sony is even releasing the thing this close to their more powerful console. If they were smart, they would include UHD blu-ray support for the Slim and people looking for a cheap blu-ray player would buy that.
So you say just go with the Pro? I'm guessing some will but I think the better way to look at is $100 bucks for the upgrade for those who have the setup, I don't really need a PS4 pro but would be nice to upgrade eventually I'm guessing. It's just more options not hurting anyone infact just Sony flexing muscles, when your ahead of the game all you gotta do is counter attack to maintain your stand and stifle the opponent while your at it, that's how you play a good game of MTG.

I'd agree that if you're not severely strapped for cash and are buying a PS4 for the first time, the Pro makes more sense. It does include a bigger HDD by default (which you -will- fill, holy crap the install sizes), and some games can run better at 1080p (and more may over time). Plus you're set for if/when you get a better TV.
That said, I think Amazon is still selling a Slim with Uncharted 4 and a year of PS+ for $269...so that's a solid deal too
Really solid deal! About HDD I have 500gb and it literally fills up with just the Call of Duty games alone... in which I can't delete cause I play those with the wife leaving me to install my games a couple at a time, and I'm the kinds guy that like my collection loaded... feel my pain.
BTW anyone know how big HDD a PS4 can take?

Far as I know, it technically supports 4TB drives as of the 3.5 update. However, since it can only accept up to 9.5mm 2.5" drives, I think the practical limit right now is 2TB as that's the largest you can find in that height or less.
That's with fitting into the stock location though. For the original model, there's the Nyko Data Bank that lets you use a 3.5" drive if you want, and apparently people have used 6TB drives to some degree with those.
