I did good (bottom of this Reply). Got up at 5am, prepped the stuffing and Stuffed Turkey in the by 6am. Ooh so much extra stuffing, a good breakfast.

I usually stick with five to ten dollar Cabernet. Sutter Home or Costco Kirkland good enough served at room temperature, to warm the chill (even in southern CA) of December.

Always love the smaller chains, only three restaurants local and one in Reno, Nevada!
Wife brought home three sandwiches that we shared with kids; Pork Belly, French Dip and melt in your mouth Dom Pastrami sandwich. The tangy cabbage with the tender meat a nice snap.
Now have a local sandwich shop that competes with the quality of famous Philippe’s in La!
Getting up early tomorrow, have a 25 pound Turkey to traditional bake overstuffed with Mrs Cubbison's Stuffing. A last minute run this morning to pick up a fresh crisp stalk of Celery from Alberstons and fresh out of oven hot oversized Pumpkin Pie from Costco. I will have a months worth Meat Group intake allowance covered in just two days, shooting for a high mark on my cholesterol count!

Grocery Store "Black Wednesday"
When shopping for groceries the day before Thanksgiving: GET IN GET OUT! I got lucky at both stores 7am at Alberstons and 930am (opened early) at Costco. The cashier at Costco mentioned good that I go there early for a fresh pie before sold out; customers don't swipe carts on this day, but they will jack your pie!
An older foodie picture, I do get carried away with the stuffing!
