It was a blanket statement. I had kind of been thinking of the 2001-06 era systems. Often times the Nintendo console wouldn't have network services included at all, and the fanboy media would ding the same games 1-2 full points in reviews endlessly droning on about the inferior product. Yet, the rest of the review at times was the most glowing in the face of it. PS2 just like the GC had a barely used network setup with just a few games, xbox many (with live) used it. Yet you never saw the PS2 get that mode excluded even if it rarely had use. There would be games like Beyond Good & Evil and others that got the best port on the Cube, yet got the crappiest review because of hypocrisy over a service.

You could go back further to taking a game between the SNES and Genesis, where someone would barely get the game functional on the SNES, and it would run and look poor with no good reason to when a little optimization and a few added colors could have fixed up. Stuff like that. I'm not talking about huge big budget live on a knife HD era stuff where you pick one and cheap as possible do the others. The funny thing is, they even did it last gen where PS3 was well leading the pack and you'd get shoddy 360 ports.

My experience is the opposite - 360 ports tended to run better than most PS3 versions from my experience (though I obviously haven't played every game on both platforms).

Generally speaking, yeah, but you do get things like the Final Fantasy XIII entries or Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (slightly) that favor the PS3.

On the other hand, Sony paid for exclusive content for a lot more releases and/or (I think?) required enhancements for PS3 retail releases that came out later than other platforms, so those versions are more likely to have extra bits of content.

Ahh, I haven't played either of those. Good to know; I had no idea there were any multiplats that performed better on PS3.

Using patches to finish games instead of fixing them, should be illegal actually.

Games that are internet only to play, even those mp games should get bots patched in eventually with ability to play offline (why not?). Paragon looking at you.

Ubisoft not making Valiant Hearts a physical release, leaving PVP out of Far Cry 4 custom maps... slight redemption for Primal actually proving to me being a great game, in fact I recommend it to King's Field fans I don't know why but yea for some reason. Lol

Idk I don't have much else to rage about surprisingly, since Sony teaming with Limited Run Games to do PSone classics on Vita couldn't possibly be a thang.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I can see how that reads either way, but what you said is what i meant. The pS3 games ran like crap and there was no reason to given the better hardware.

More a publisher thing than a dev thing; doing physical releases for one territory but digital only for others. Yeah I'm talking about you stank ass Crapcom.

Ohhhhhh, I see what you meant. My bad. I definitely misunderstood, but now that I read through it again, I see what you meant.

Seriously this a million times. This is why for what stuff I have that isn't region locked I'm going to import. This is bizarre, and because I prefer physical(and memory cards are expensive on vita) I just don't understand this logic. I will buy a physical copy anyday(digital not so much), which means I really need to track down a better case for holding my vita games(onn's sucks major ass)

Nope. Nothing comes to mind for me. I like video games.
