What concerts have you attended?
Re: What concerts have you attended?
I just got back from seeing Temple of the Dog. This was the Seattle homecoming show of their reunion tour 25 years after the album released. They played the entire album and most of Mother Love Bone's material. They also did covers of David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Syd Barret, The Cure, Mad Season, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Harry Nilsson. It was so awesome to see them here.
Here is some video I took of them performing Mad Season's River of Deceit. (RIP Layne Staley)

I hope Sick Puppies was better where you saw it. I saw it for my "music appreciation" concert review a few weeks ago and the venue sucked. They may still be a good band but i could hear or understand a lick of what was going on for any of the bands in it. Which for mine was Sick puppies, one less reason, and devour the day. I'll admit I don't remember much about the bands before deciding on that one. But considering things I'd heard and listened to I thought it'd be a good one to go see. Neighborhood theatre in charlotte needs to work on that sound system. For bands that don't exactly aim for the light side of music that was atrocious. Despite SP not being the original members baring the girl, which saddens me that she's dragging it out and not renaming it or something. I know a lot of bands do that but when it's just her that seems rather awkward to keep the name. Doesn't have the same spirit if it was at least 2 out of 3 instead....

Re: What concerts have you attended?
They sounded fine when I heard them. My only complaint is that the level of bass at the amphitheater I typically attend is so deep that it makes the seats and my inners vibrate. Which is awesome for a rock concert, but I often find it very distracting, especially when they hit just[/i the right notes.
Other than that, I heard them fine.

Went and seen Soundgarden on Sunday, RIP Chris.
Re: What concerts have you attended?
It has been a pretty mild year as it starts to come to a close. I kept it pretty selective this year and went to only a few select shows, after Soundgarden I went to Rogers Waters, Nickelback tiwce (one show was free and got $20 for gas), Flaw, Megadeth and ended the summer at Riot Fest with Nine Inch Nails. Only leaves me with Manson in October and maybe PM5K in November.
NIN at Riot Fest was concert #150!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
