F-Zero GX: The Greatest Racer Ever?
Agreed with JC -- I thought the peak of futuristic racing was Wipeout XL/2097. I've been chasing the same high ever since, but Wipeout 3, Wipeout 64, Wipeout Fusion, the Extreme-G series, Quantum Redshift, Powerdrome, Star Wars Racer, and more .... no thrill.
F Zero X, however, was great! Also, Wipeout Pure is cool.
F-Zero GX is
too hard for me.
I like F-Zero X the best from the Nintendo games. I wish GX were more like that.

I agree with Racket! If F-Zero GX isn't the best racer ever, it's certainly my favorite.
I love how fast it is and how tight the controls are. It takes a lot of practice to be able to play well, but once you do, it rocks.
I've practiced enough to be able to beat all the cups, but since I use Dr. Stewart, I can't beat very many of the advanced levels in Story Mode. Has anyone been able to beat very many of those? Man, they're crazy hard!
I really like the tracks as well. That one with the sudden jerks in the Diamond Cup is great! The full pipe one is good too.
However, in the music department, nothing can beat Daytona!
I have to say though, SegaVega, I wish I could play the arcade version. The only time I had a chance was on a band trip to a mall: I went to the Sega Gameworks arcade the whole time to hang out, hoping there would be a F-Zero machine, and there was one at the skating rink the whole time!
