With Breath of the Wild I have mixed thoughts for sure. I am happy to see Zelda returning to its open world roots, because if we all remember the original Zelda was open world... to a large extent. At the same time, open world has been a big thing for a long time now in console games and is sort of played out. Simply making Zelda an open world game in that context is not enough, and unless Nintendo really does something unique with the formula, it will just come off as them being embarrassingly late to the party. But knowing Nintendo, I'm betting their open world will still be very hand crafted and full of rewarding exploration. Looking forward to seeing some dungeon gameplay at this point.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Yep. I completed Shantae (GBC) and Shantae: Risky's Revenge Director's Cut (Wii U) earlier this year, and I just started up Shantae & The Pirate's Curse (Wii U). I love the series, and my children love it too. We are all pumped for 1/2 Genie Hero, and I will probably pre-order a copy of the game (which is no something I do very often).

Yup thanks to Xseed for localization, physical release and very low retail price! I'm preordering this just not sure if I want Vita of PS4?
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

WayForward is based in California; so, I am not sure that localization is necessary!

Maybe not for California, though that is only sometimes like another country. Now if it had been Texas, then yes.

Looking good for sure. Instabuy.

Also, nice to see that Konjak has been working on Iconoclasts! I played the demo a while back, and it looked like cool stuff, and this trailer has me even more excited. Should be fun times!

So here's my idea for a Zelda Zelda game. It's a prequel to the original LoZ; Ganon shows up but no Hero is to be found. So Zelda, having a strong sense of justice, sets out to defeat him to save her kingdom. However, first she must travel to eight dungeons to hide shards of the Triforce of Wisdom as an insurance policy. That task complete she travels to Death Mountain to confront Ganon. Though she is able to defeat him initially he starts to use his invisibility powers and lacking the ability to dispel them she is captured. Credits cut to Link meeting up with Impa as the NES theme plays.

That is a really cool idea for a Zelda game. I'd play it.
