Yes, it would. It's because the banking community sat around with their thumbs up their asses for too long. I mean, yeah, we could be exporting more and our auto industry could be more competitive and stuff like that, but instead of becoming a more efficient nation we allowed ourselves to be insulated by a bubble. While economics is about 50% imaginary, you have to be careful what and how you imagine.
