So yeah, not really one game, but it was one gaming session. It's not that the games were even that great, I just had zero life going on back then. I was on unemployment, single, unsocial, and pretty depressed. That was a long time ago though, circa 2002, thankfully thing's have massively improved since then.

One positive about having less gaming time, is you cherish the gaming time you do have all the more, and make better decisions about what games are actually worth said limited time.

That's very true. I couldn't get a job as a teen, since I had the luck of coming of age during an economic downturn, so I played a lot of video games. I never hit 12 hours straight, since I would break for meals, but I certainly spent entire days in front of the TV or computer. I'd play anything too, as long as it didn't have a negative reputation.

Now I considered myself fortunate that I made 50 hours of time to play Fallout New Vegas over the holiday season (I'm talking like a 4 week period here). I'd never put that kind of time into some of the games I used to play, just because time is too precious. I'll either play something I really like, or I'll do something else.

I haven't become a lightweight in my old age; I've become a lightweight because I, for some reason, though teaching high school was a fantastic idea. That may not have been my best decision....

Forget it ElkinFencer10, MrPopo is the most devout gamer I've ever met. Social life? Wife? Kids? Household chores? Creative hobbies? Pfft, forget it! Such things are trivial and meaningless and only get in the way of divine hardcore gaming. Regular players see him and think oh no it's the Popo.

I live my life in the eternal hope that Popo-senpai will one day notice me.

Creative hobbies? Now you're just getting pretentious. Do what you love. And household chores do get done; I've got maid service and lawn service every two weeks and the litter box is fully automated.

That's the joke.

And I'm not judging your life choices either big guy. Just illustrating why as an adult you can still pull 10-12 hour gaming stints like it ain't no thing.
