So, is
Glenn really dead?
I sure hope they don't go with something lame such as:
"well he managed to crawl under the dumpster".

Maybe.
When Nicolas shot himself, they fell with Nicolas on top of Glenn, so the guts could have not belonged to Glenn. Glenn is also already soaked with blood, so the walkers may consider Glenn to already be dead and not fresh meat.

It's a long shot as Glenn seemed to be screaming in pain, but I wouldn't rule it completely out. And if Glenn is a goner, shame on the writers (again) for an awful death for a fan favorite character.

Not sure, but I think Glenn might make it out of there alive. If not...Poop. I could imdb the cast for future shows, but will not spoil it for myself.

My fear is that Carol might go back into Wolf costume and be killed by her own group as they do not recognize her. That would be terrible as I love me some Carol. Plus screw the people of Alexandria. Sure most of the stories basically rely on "Rick Rules!", but the saps that live in Alexandria had been warned over and over and still do not pick up what Rick has been putting down.

Hoping for a lot more Morgan on the next episode.

The covered in blood trick wouldn't work, he has to be covered in zombie blood for it to work. And screw a whole episode of morgan. Looks like we're getting a whole episode of that dumbass next week.

Anyone who seriously thinks that character survived seriously needs to get their head examined

Either that or this show has jumped the shark. I will be infuriated if he comes back

I reckon that character checked out as well.

But then there's this:
At one point in this last episode, he tells Rick “good luck, dumbass,” which is the first name he called Rick in the second episode of the season when Rick was hiding under the tank. I repeat: Glenn called Rick a dumbass when Glenn found Rick hiding in/under the tank.
That's why I previously mentioned it would be lame if they went with Glenn surviving by going under that dumpster.

Formula for every episode:

Character A: It doesn't need to be like this
Character B: Yes it does

Character C: This is the way the world is now
Character D: Things can get better

Character E: I'm not leaving you behind!
Character F: Leave me!
Character E: Okay!

Character G: Don't leave me behind!
*Dies*

Follow this up with a shot of 3 or 4 slow moving zombies, cut to something else for three seconds, then cut back to either A: 3 or 4 zombies have turned into 500 or B: A slow moving zombie has suddenly appeared behind someone.

Anyway
If the fate of Glenn is anything but death it will be a True Detective-esque fakeout that will result in no big event ever being able to be taken seriously. I will give them some credit for Glenn's death though. It wasn't telecast like many other major character deaths, and it felt like a reasonable way for him to go, not following the stealth zombie death of Dale or the suddenly super strong zombie that takes out Tyreese, who 2 episodes earlier had beaten his way out of a hoard of 30 zombies with a hammer.

Is Glenn Dead? Is Rick Dead? Will Rick chop off his hand? Tune in next week for a 90 min Morgan flashback and none of these answers.

And related to the dumbass thing, It was nice to hear that line back, but just brings up another problem I had and one of the reasons I'm not really heartbroken about Glenn. He started the show as a smartass. Remember when he went flying down the road in his new car? He was a fun character. I know this is the zombie apocalypse. I know there's arcs to be had about good people going bad, or fun people turning serious. But his transition occurred within about 6 or 7 episodes and flatlined from there. And on a show that's as glum as this, it really needed some pep from a sarcastic character like Glenn. He became just another over-serious character that repeats the same on-the-nose here are my exact feelings on this matter dialogues as the rest of them.
