Re: 2015: The thread of the anticipation of the games!
I wasn't sure if the physical release was going to have the Plague Night stuff or not - but assumed it would. I have it on PC of course. Though I'm seriously considering getting the Shovel Knight Amiibo just as a decoration.

Shovel Knight is such a good game. I'm gonna have to find that DLC.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

So glad they had an open beta for Star Wars Battlefront what they've done with it definately isn't my cup of tea so I'll be passing unless I bump into it sub $15. Looks cool but I don't like the whole vehicles/heroes are power ups scattered around the environment as opposed to having spawn areas and the game modes they highlighted are based around a lot of run and gun which usually doesn't keep my attention long. Plus I'm not a huge fan of random spawns.
Kind of disappointed with how they chose to go about it. I mean it does look nice and you can see the potential, but it just isn't anything like Battlefront or even Battlefield for that matter.

oh I forgot Battlefront started tonight! I'm sort of interested. Sort of nervous that it's not gonna be good. :\

It's fun, but not the type of fun that makes me want to go out and spend cash on it. If given the option of playing Star Wars Battle Front(PS2) with bots or this reboot with 40 player MP I would probably fire up the PS2.
Things They Did That I Don't Like:
- Infinite Ammo(Overheating is all), and Regenerating Health. Even Grenades are infinite and just have a cool down
.
- Vehicles are now special drops that spawn around the environment and have to be called in at which point you are teleported into the cockpit and spawned somewhere on the map.
- Rocket launchers are a random power up spawn on the map. Might be available as an unlock later but right now the infantry doesn't have much anti-vehicle fire power which blows. You can damage vehicles with small arms fire but that takes forever to bring them down and gets you instantly killed since your cover is blown with each shot.
- The 2 Maps in the Beta aren't really blowing me away there is a lot of trench warfare as well as large open spaces. Was really psyched to see Hoth, but it just isn't as epic as the previous battlefronts. You can't even take out the ATATs with harpoons anymore

Battlefront is kind of disappointing me too. I was hoping for Star Wars themed Battlefield, and instead it's like a more arcadey COD.
On the upside: after this, someone's bound to make a good Star Wars Battlefield mod.

got it working finally after reinstalling Origin. It basically feels like Star Wars Titanfall. It looks incredible tho. I don't hate it, but it seems like the sort of game I'll wait for a sale on.
