I love everything about your setup, very clean and very functional. I also love that idea for the controllers on the back of the door in the shoe bag/rack thing. I might have to steal that myself. My only suggestion really is TV. That tv looks really old. I myself just got relegated to using my tinyass 22" LCD, going down from a 57" Sony. Needless to say I need to get going with a new tv. Props to you however on a wonderful collection.

Nah, the systems he has all look better on an old school CRT anyway! Could go bigger though. Shouldn't be that hard, as everyone is getting rid of their old TVs.

Yeah, agree 100%. Most LCD screens don't treat old school 2D very well. If I were not in a cramped college apartment I'de have a 29" arcade monitor for old stuff.

I am still not sure why so many people rely on two outlets and constantly unplug/plug in their consoles.
My thoughts exactly. I keep all of my consoles plugged in at the same time. The two switches I have are maxed out. If I want to add an extra console, I'd need to add a third switch. The way I see it, to be a true retro-gamer I need to keep my consoles hooked up, ready to play at all times.

I also use one of those hanging shoe-sleeves to hold all of my controllers. I got the idea from reading racketboy. Best eleven dollars I've ever spent.

Maybe It's time to show off my collection. It's not as impressive as some game rooms around here, but it makes me happy.

aaahhhh i definitely want a new TV! this was my first one EVER! i remember going out and buying this beast years ago. i dont mind the style so much (i wouldnt mind a flat screen or whatever, but this thing treats me good), but i do hate the size! as it is, however, the systems fit perfectly on the table with this size TV... i dont know what id do with a bigger one... id be willing to find a way to make it work though:) better audio would be great too.

i also got the shoe rack controller holder idea from racketboy... had one in the attack that the previous owner left behind. i love it!

The shoe rack idea was actually what got me hooked onto this site. I was looking for a way to hold controllers and behold.....racketboy! I went out and got one and every time someone takes a look at it they go. "Wow! What a great idea!

So here's my brilliant idea. Nintendo's next console should be a cat!
