there's no items, but there is the whole talents unlocking at levels 4, 7, 10, etc thing that at least means you've gotta work together to level up ASAP. I like that mechanic just fine.

Support is the one class I've tried and just fumbled at so far. It said that Li Li was an 'easy' Hero to learn, but I was terrible. So I've been reluctant to jump into the Support role since. I'll probably get comfortable w/ other classes first - unless a daily quest gives me incentive otherwise.

The first rule of Support is you won't be getting kills.
The second rule of Support is to try and help your lane partner get kills.

First rule is tough for me to get used to haha. That explosion/ping sound when a Hero is killed is just ineffably satisfying.

Second rule is the part I'm terrible at. I find myself getting killed before I can be of any use.

bought a new character:



Tyrael is a badass. He's in the free hero rotation right now, and he's one of the first non-ranged heroes I've felt really comfortable with. The first match I played using him I got nearly 30 kills. Awesome.

I'm up to 9 Heroes own now.



Azmodan.

It kind of kills to watch 10,000 gold just vanish from your winnings like that. And it was really hard because I wanted to buy Nova as well. She is so awesome. But I decided to get Azmodan first because I was better with him than Nova in free rotation weeks. Nova rules, but she can be tricky to learn. She'll be my next purchase for sure, though.

I've been talking about it less, but I play this game a lot. But nobody else here is really into it, and even if they were I guess a lot of my posts would be "played more matches, gg." Which is kind of boring.

But my player level is 21 now - halfway to cap. As of last night I've played 120 matches.

Last night had this one incredible game where everything just clicked. We slaughtered the enemy in just 8 minutes and 50 seconds. It was amazing. Everyone just playing in harmony. All of us strangers - well except the dude that invited me to play is a guy I've played several matches with so we've friended each other.

Anyway it was hilarious because towards the end of the match someone was like "now THIS is a team!" and then another chimed in with "yeah especially with Jaina" who I was playing. I felt awesome (and hit Tab to reveal I was at like 40 kills at that point) - but of course the next game I played, I played horribly haha. I think I got too cocky.

If I wasn't so burnt out on multiplayer I'd probably be playing this more. But I went deep on League of Legends when I was at Microsoft on the After Hours Gaming League team, and now I just wanna play a lot of single player.

if anybody's thinking about getting into this (or back into this), now is a good time. This week is the Halloween event, and XP is upped in that time. I hit level 25 last night which is a bit of a milestone...

Also marurun hooked me up w/ Diablo so now I have 10 Heroes.
