I'm going to start a "Zombie's Lives Matter" campaign.

Or not.

Wow. That episode was pretty terrible but served a purpose as I now know how to kind of describe Fear The Walking Dead.

Fear The Walking Dead is a television series on AMC, that feels like it should be on Lifetime, that stars an M Night Shamalongadindong lookalike, a young Jack White of the White Stripes, and some woman that says little but has a lot of screen time. The show focuses on people doing things we don't care about and scripts that totally dick around the fact zombies are an issue. And people hide under cars, because anytime a show wants a tense moment, someone has to hide under a car.

I'd say he is a much more Johnny Depo look a like.

I would like there to be more zombies. But they are going the government response to outbreak route.

My first Cliff Curtis film was Three Kings. He's pretty good at doing "exotic" roles. That movie screams nostalgia to me for personal reasons.. Give it a watch sometime if you haven't already.

Saw episode 2 while I was running in the gym, and got the same impression. It focuses on the boring stuff, the characters suck, does the same old tropes we've all seen before, and I'm sick of zombies at this point anyhow.

I was about to write off TWD when they spent what felt like years on the farm, but we got new writers, Terminus, and Bad Ass Beth, so I'll stick with FTWD for a while. Plus I don't have a choice as on Sunday's the gals get to pick the show we watch.

But! I have no interest in any pf these characters. Instantly I felt for Rick and his mental state, and instantly I hated Shane. I also remembered their names. So far FTWD is an empty cash grab, but who knows? Could turn out to be something good if they fire everyone currently involved.

FTWD could have worked as a prequel of sorts. Now after episode six, the show has become entirely pointless. Heck even TWD has its abundant share of writing problems.

Pointless how? Then what show has a point? This was meant to show the beginning, and focusing on a modern family unit in the face of a crisis. Has some plot holes and questionable writing at times, but even the best shows have that.
