1. Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within (XBOX)
2. Contra: Hard Corps (GEN)
3. Final Fight (SNES)
4. Bare Knuckle 3 (GEN)

5. Mega Man 5 (NES)

And my white whale has been found!

I have been looking for this game for over 2 Years. I went to MAGFest last year looking for it and I couldn't find it. I check my retro game stores Facebook page twice a week and it never came up. I never found it in the wild.

Until recently. I came back from a Board Game Convention. I was curious, so I checked a game stores Facebook page and there it was. In all of its glory. Waiting for me to pick it up.

One 'Holy Shit' and 90 minutes later, the game was mine! Just one more to go to complete my Mega Man NES collection!

The only problem is I need a new white whale...

Mind if I ask you how much it set you back? If I'd known you were looking that badly, I might have spared one of my copies. ;)

Great job finding it, though! It's one of my favorites for sure.

 Urge to kill rising...

They were selling it for $90 and the cartridge is near flawless. The label looks perfect and it starts up right away.

I traded in a couple of items, so I got a bit off. But, looking around, $90 is a pretty good deal as Ebay is asking around $120.

No, that's a pretty solid price from what I've seen. Great job there!

My main copy is absolutely pristine (and complete!), but the spare that I have has an intact but somewhat "bruised" look with some random indentations across it. Sounds like you got a better cart. :)

So which one are you missing?

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by that pricing. They could have really gouged the price on it, but they are a good store.

I am now missing Mega Man 6. Surprisingly, that one is easier to find than Mega Man 5, so its only a matter of time. I just wanted to play Mega Man 5 first which I will do in a few short days. I loved Mega Man 4, so I am very excited for Mega Man 5!

MAY 2016!

Time to start actively taking part in the this thread. Been one of my favorites the past couple of years. Interesting change for me though as I have been/am in the process of selling off about 1/3 of my game collection, moving 155 games. I also donated 2) 27” CRT TVs, 50) VHS Tapes, 1) VCR. I am going to be a bit more selective moving forward and you’ll see my purchases below reflect this. I am in space saving mode as I have a kiddo now, but will still be active in the hobby and purchasing here and there. I did not sell anything from my childhood, or games my friends gave to me that were from their youth.

My most recent purchases:

I've been mulling over a Mega Everdrive just so I don't have to drag all my old carts out. Definitely an awesome purchase. Hopefully they won't sketch out too badly on your clone system. I think there might be a few games that will get goofy on you.

I definitely have the real hardware as well. Not getting rid of those. The clone does save wear & tear on them.

It's also just very convenient for testing ROMS for all 4 consoles (coutning Master System). Unrelated to this recent ROM cart purchase, I happened to pick up a Retro Trio (probably a year ago or so) & it is one the few clones they work on.

On the Retro Trio:
Genesis & SMS are flawless so far. Including save states (Genesis) and SRAM saves for both. There's a region switch so I was even able to put it on JPN & run Pulseman.

Save states don't work on N8 for NES. SRAM saves are fine. Surprisingly Castlevania II & III ROMS run flawlessly while the carts did not. Need to test music on a Crystalis ROM.

StarFox on SD2SNES wouldn't boot but the original cartridge will. Might be the ROM. SRAM saves work fine.

Overall very solid.

@jmb, I decided they were good investment and a space saver :). XRGB mini next....
