Re: my "Gameroom"
Hey, thanks for the kind words everyone. Creating a clean minimal gamer pad has become something of an obsession. Haha @Hazerd - The PC is built by Digital Storm. It's their Ode Level II. First gaming PC I didn't build myself. Believe it or not, I priced every part in this PC on newegg and it was on...

Re: my "Gameroom"
Yeah, thanks guys! I've always had as much stuff/clutter as the next guy, but a few years back I started practicing practical minimalism. It really does make life easier/reduce stress to own less crap. The hard part is also being a retro game collector as well. I'd love to show off my collection out...

Re: my "Gameroom"
But whats the story with the camera on the tripod in the bathroom? The gallery was originally posted to the r/minimalist subreddit. I was just taking photos to show the design of my loft. There was no better way to take a picture of the bathroom than to have the camera in the bathroom doorway and t...

Retron 3 Controller ports not working.
Hey guy, I was wondering if any of you had trouble with the controller ports on your Retrons? My NES ports seem to work fine, the Genesis ports sometimes have to be inserted multiple times or I have to power cycle to system or reset to get them to work, but my SNES ports don't work at all! Any solut...

my "Gameroom"
Hey friends, I haven't logged into these forums in awhile. I'm mostly just a lurker, but I wanted to share some photos of my (retro)game centric loft. I made a similar post on Reddit that some of you might have seen, but I wanted to share here as well. Thanks! Enjoy! http://imgur.com/a/skK1f

Custom MAME build, help me out!
Hey guys, I'm getting ready to embark on a pretty big project for my modding/custom build skill level. I've been wanting to build a custom MAME cabinet for years and I've finally committed to the project by buying an empty cab to put it in. In my head, I have a lot of ideas I want this project to ha...

Re: Neo Geo Mame Cabinet Project... Assistance required!!! :)
You know, one of the other things I have come to love about the Neo is just how loyal the fans are. I appreciate everyones concerns and I promise I wont "hack" her up. The only cosmetic changes I will be doing is adding extra buttons to the control panel. But lets say years down the road, ...

Re: Neo Geo Mame Cabinet Project... Assistance required!!! :)
Thanks thelolotov! $200 for the cab. As I mentioned before the guy has 4 Neo cabs on his property. Two 1-slots and two 4-slots. The guy knows nothing really about arcades, yet has about 30ish various cabinets on his property. He said his buddy buys them for resell and he just lets him store them on ...

Neo Geo Mame Cabinet Project... Assistance required!!! :)
Hello Friends, It's time for me to start my latest project. I am finally getting around to building my MAME cabinet. I've been pretty picky deciding what old cabinet to start this project with, but I finally found it. I am a huge Neo Geo fan and I have been looking for a MVS upright in decent shape....

Re: Problem with Model I Genesis
I don't see how $50 dollars is such a great deal, but, try to get a can of compressed air and spray it into the cartridge slot of the Genesis. And make sure the contacts on the games are SPOTLESS! It's the complete box, everything even plastic inside for $50... model 1 consoles only, are going on a...
