my "Gameroom"

Post by sharp3D »

Hey friends,

I haven't logged into these forums in awhile. I'm mostly just a lurker, but I wanted to share some photos of my (retro)game centric loft. I made a similar post on Reddit that some of you might have seen, but I wanted to share here as well.

Thanks! Enjoy!

I love the windows and floor plan. Thats just a sweet layout. But whats the story with the camera on the tripod in the bathroom?

Gorgeous.

With all of those windows though, you may want to re-think getting a projector.

The gallery was originally posted to the r/minimalist subreddit. I was just taking photos to show the design of my loft. There was no better way to take a picture of the bathroom than to have the camera in the bathroom doorway and therefore in the mirrors reflection. :D

Yeah, thanks guys! I've always had as much stuff/clutter as the next guy, but a few years back I started practicing practical minimalism. It really does make life easier/reduce stress to own less crap. The hard part is also being a retro game collector as well. I'd love to show off my collection out in the open, but other than a half dozen crappy particle board shelving units, there is just no way.

I love this, I love the windows, I love the computer chair, I love it all.

I actually have the same stool that you do that at your neo geo mini cab

I love your space. I want so much to have a minimalist design in my house. However, with a family of four, with two pre-school age kids, that is pretty hard to do. Not to mention that our house is quite small. However, when we move.....

Also, maybe I'm being dense, but what do you mean by "I win a lot of arguments in the shower."? If it's a joke, it's going over my head
