Just bought a new 72 pin connector.
Works fine, however some games work instantly without pushing down, and then there are some games that I need to push down to get them to work. But, if I do they work instantly. Now, I heard when you buy a new 72 pin connector you shouldn't push the slot down, but if this is the only way some of my ...

I'm sure someone might remember this:
Digimon
Digital Monsters
Digimon Garlic Champions
Why do I think it's better? That would be hilarious if that was what it actually said.

Video Reviews / Series based on Games
Hey, I recently finished rewatching AVGN as well as some things on Gametrailers and Screwattack and it just makes me feel like I want to see more. I guess I should have watched about 1 video a day to make it last longer. I also follow these Youtube channels and I've seen everything so far. Here they...

Re: Best retro system for your money?
I was just going to say NES when I searched eBay for some Genesis game prices, they are pretty similar so I'd say both, hard to decide.

Re: NES wont work
Look at the second picture how the top/bottom pair of gold 2 pronged teeth in the middle are nearly touching. In the before picture there's a big black gap all the way across. Oh I see now, thanks, I needed you to point that out. I couldn't really see because I thought it was a reflection from the ...

Re: NES wont work
I probably just need a new 72 pin connector as well as the OP, correct? Or bending them might work. m Don't play any battery backup games until you've got it fixed, a flashing NES is very likely to wipe them. Last time I had it open I was interested in bending them but I don't quite understand what...

Re: NES wont work
I'm having a problem with mine also, I played Ninja Gaiden fine a few days ago as well as Crystalis and I wouldn't have to jiggle or anything. I received about 8 more games that I ordered and I cleaned them all before trying them, since then when I put games in it takes me about 5 minutes of jigglin...

Re: Buying a SNES
Definitely go with the original SNES. Also, sorry to "hijack" but I was just about to post a topic like this, so I figured I'd save some space. I've been looking for an SNES as well to buy for the holidays but I've been having trouble finding one that isn't half yellow or mostly yellow. I ...
