Re: Complete Dreamcast game listing?
Hey, it would be a lot more manageable of an undertaking to do this for the Dreamcast instead of, say, the PlayStation.

Re: Games you own that you have no intention of EVER playing
Like with my record collecting habit, I probably spend more time shopping for games than actually playing most of them. I own a bunch of games that I've never gotten around to playing. Some of the more notable ones are: Final Fantasy (NES) Jade Empire (Xbox) DecAthlete (Saturn) Legend of Zelda: Majo...

Re: Half-Price scores...
Half-Price Books is an incredible store but you can't expect them to keep a consistent inventory as it's not a video game store and it doesn't claim to be. It's a bookstore that happens to have games and sometimes, when you're lucky, some those games will be gems and cheaply priced. If nothing else,...

I also like their Top 10 lists, although I rarely ever agree with them. AVGN is fairly amusing, too.

Re: What games have inspired true adventure in your mind?
Thanks for all of the suggestions. I have played most of these games and they are pretty great. Is Morrowind that different than Oblivion? I have only played Oblivion and I haven't really been able to get into it. I really couldn't tell you why, but Morrowind actually always felt far more immersive...

Man, I'm either too old or you lot are too hardcore! Right now I've got on Beach Boys' Pet Sounds... Hell yeah! Pet Sounds is a classic. I'm currently looking for a copy on vinyl. Right now, Fleet Foxes (Fleet Foxes), Uplifter (311), Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits, Earfood (Roy Hargrove Quin...

Re: Deus Ex- does it stand the test of time?
I played the game for the first time in my life last year and LOVED it. I don't understand why people are comparing it to Fallout 3 or Bioshock. Those games play more like an fps. Deus Ex Actually plays like an rpg beyond the stats screen. You couldn't shoot a single thing if you hadn't leveled up ...

Let me clarify.
Why?

Re: What was the best Mega Drive Road Rash game?
I vote 3. I like the music in Germany and Italy's levels, and it's got the best physics imo. I also like how in many of the races you just don't shoot to the front of the pack like you do in the first game; I've won a few races by as little as a tenth of a second. Definitely! Road Rash 3's music wa...
