Re: Ever felt let down by a franchise?
Hands down the Sonic series. I still play the Sonic Genesis games (excluding Sonic 3D) to this day. They are a perfect example of how great games stand the test of time. I remember being excited seeing Sonic 3D at the rental place and going home and expecting another great game...instead it was the ...

Re: Downsides to cheap HDMI cables?
The only problem I've had with cheap cables in general is general wear and tear. Sometimes some off brand cables I've bought got banged up a bit quickly, but you'll get the same picture regardless.
I've also used monoprice in the past and I haven't had any bad experiences to report.

Re: Monster Hunter Tri controller bundle in stores?
So how's the game everybody? I've been reading reviews and watching videos, but I still don't know what to think of this game. It looks great (loot, customization, big HUGE battles) and something I can totally sink a lot of time into and have fun, but I keep seeing problems with controls and a steep...

Re: NBA Playoffs thread
I was (seems to be a trend for my favorite teams to bow out early) rooting for the Charlotte Bobcats. It's very hard to explain the entire situation with the love/hate relationship the city has with pro basketball now (especially the Bobcats). The city really hasn't gotten over the Hornets and Georg...

Even garbage goals count in OT, especially during the playoffs.
Especially taking out one of our players....

I'm rooting for my boys from Nashville. We are having a tough time putting up consecutive good games. It would be a tremendous upset if we did beat Chicago, but I'm feeling pretty good. Rinne has been solid in goal.
