NHL Hockey playoff Thread

Post by BlackDS »

So, How many Hockey Fans do we have on the site?
If your team is not in the playoffs, who do you want to win the stanley cup?

How about them Flyers upsetting the Devils?

(Ps, i am writing this between overtimes in the Penguins and Senators game 5 :D )

I have a few I'm rooting for but overall it's some great hockey so far.

I'm watching the pens feed currently and it's driving me mad how biased those play by play guys are. Makes them sound like idiots. That goes for any biased play by play not just pens

yeah i dont like when national broadcasts are biased at all, but they always are when Crosby is involved, as is the officiating.

Obviously I want the Flyers to win it all, but that is a longshot, I dont know that they can get past the Caps or Penguins. I would love to see the Coyotes somehow pull it out after everything they have been through in the last year.

Habs all the way, even if they are on the brink of elimination.

I'm an Islanders fan, but I haven't been watching any of the playoffs so I cannot comment.

The Sens won a 3OT game against the Pens, was it too little too late with the series now at 3-2 Pens up? I think not.

Capitals are primed to take it to the next level, the Devils are showing their ages (name key players beside Praise that are under 27!), the Habs need to do serious re-thinking (who in the goal, and who to lead the team???), are Flyers able to go further with fewer players?

In the West, its always when will the Sharks move forward. Gotta love the match up between the Red Wings and Coyotes - old vanguards vs the under-"dogs."

I was thinking that this is the year for the Capitals, with the Pens right behind them, and maybe the Hawks could shake up the scenery in the West, after being the laughing stock for such a long time (sorry to say this, but the Death of "Dollar Bill" was a blessing!).

That's too bad that the Devils are done. It seems like every time Brodeur steps on the ice now he breaks another record.
