@mikenac,
you just inspired my next PC build. I love your setup and being able to see the PC's components beneath the keyboard. Well done sir!

Re: What are you playing?
back and forth right now between MGS Phantom Pain on PC and The Witness. I just started MGS last week and feel pretty comfy with the controls and having a blast with it's sand-box approach to each mission.

This was the first game I bought when this system came out and remember playing the mess out of it. Still go back to this and Kenseiden to this day.

This thread takes me back to my roots and glad the OP created it. I grew up with Spider Fighter, Pitfall, kaboom, and yars revenge. Good times when life was as so simple...

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
My wife and I took our 10 year old daughter to see Peanuts the Movie this past weekend. It was a great movie and a breath of fresh air from all the violent, zombie apocalypse, Armageddon is nigh type media out. Not knocking that genre at all, but it was nice to take in a truly peaceful and serene mo...

Re: Dragon Age Inquistition issues...(heavy sigh)
So then, aside from installing programs that are only absolutely necessary, what are some other good housekeeping tips to keep the OS running minty fresh as a day 1 install? P.S. I know they said that the 8gb 290x was a beast, but they were not kidding. I can max out every game and am getting consis...

caster, Me too. I would like to know too so that I don't find myself in the same circumstances going forward. Good advice on only installing what's needed and that's it. I've always tried to, but will be much more conscious of it going forward for sure. It just keeps getting better and better! I loa...

Well I'll be.... I suffered a catastrophic bout of malware this past weekend that really caused a great bit of damage. Although I managed to remove the majority, I decided to just reinstall windows, which I did. I 've spent the past few days setting up anti-virus and malware, drivers, etc., and have...

Re: PC build thread
I just installed an 8gb 290x and am very happy. I do admit, it is overkill fro my rig since I only game in 1440, not 4k, but the biggest reason I *thought* I needed it was for a heavily modded Skyrim build that was taxing my 3gb 280. I've just figured out how to track my GPU usage in real time and I...
