I hope you end up enjoying Oracle :) The world design is just so appealing to me, especially the pixel art design. I'd say Seasons is definitely the harder game combat-wise (with Ages having harder puzzles, I guess, but not that I particularly noticed last time I did the dual-runthrough of both). Most of that is just up to how fucking hard General Onox is, imo. That boss fight alone was CRAZY hard to 3-heart run Xp

I've actually seen a lot of people say that they loved the Oracle games. Seasons just isn't clicking for me, yet. I think the only thing that has tripped me up with Seasons is that now you can push pots, which I totally didn't know you could do and help me up in the third dungeon. I'm gonna push through the game though and finish it.

They aren't as good as Link's Awakening, but both of them are solid. Stick with it!

The Ghost Recon Wildlands Open Beta just started so I'm going to sink some time into it once the nearly 22GB finishes up :P. Kind of have a feeling that a lot of gameplay mechanics from Watchdogs 2 are going to show up hear. I'm really hoping that it turns out to be a kind of mesh of The Division and Watchdogs 2 since I feel basically that's what I was wanting out of The Division in the first place and this could definitely pull that off. Hell I would have been happy with The Division if only they hadn't made the enemies into god awful bullet sponges which thankfully doesn't appear to be the case this time around based on gameplay videos.

After playing a bit Wildlands seems to be a really solid game. Enemies die in one hit and they can take you down pretty fast if your spotted. AI also seems to be decent enough to know how to overwhelm or flank you once they've determined your location so tactics actually matters :). AI companions are also super helpful in singleplay and mostly take care of themselves.

Only thing I don't like is vehicles controls feel a little off but that is no biggie and I feel like I could easily get used to it with time.

Going to try some multiplayer/co-op when I get some time later.

back and forth right now between MGS Phantom Pain on PC and The Witness. I just started MGS last week and feel pretty comfy with the controls and having a blast with it's sand-box approach to each mission.

Blood Bowl reminded me last night that it's a game totally about dice. My Beastmen still aren't too upgraded, so they have a lot of trouble with very dodgey players, and some Wood Elves gave us a thrashing yesterday. We were rolling like trash, and one of my two ball-hunter beastmen with tackle was out with an injury for that game, so I was SoL XP

We managed to make it a draw by pure luck. A fantastic amount of luck. One Beastman happened to get doubles on his first level up, so I gave him dodge, and that allowed him to do some fucking crazy dodge skills to get to the back of the field, steal the ball, and run in for a touchdown. Things Beastmen of any variety generally cannot do Xp. Times like this I'm thankful I picked the all-arounder bashy team.

Then we absolutely pile-drove a Dwarven team into the pitch. Both Dwarves and Chaos are teams that excel at very slow, deliberate cage maneuvers to score, but as someone who's tried very hard to play Dwarves, they just cannot out-bash a Chaos team. The 4-strength Chaos Warriors (not to mention the 4-Strength Sarus on a Lizardman team, my other faves <3) are way too much for a Dwarven team to handle unless they like ALL have guard, and that usually isn't the case (and they're kinda still boned if the Chaos Warriors have guard as well). The games I had against Chaos teams back when I played Dwarves were just fucking crazy melees in the middle of the pitch with each team slowly and alternatingly trying to get their ball toward-ish the endzone. It's more of a game of "who can knock out more of whom" at that point Xp

Verdict: Blood Bowl still fun. I shall have my revenge on Elves! Filthy Elves. They think they're so good with their abilities to do stuff like, "dodge" and "pass." CHAOS NEEDS NOT THESE FRILLY TECHNIQUES. WE NEED ONLY SMASH.

Vermintide - PC - Coop with gaming group - got to round 29 on Last Stand, beat White Rat and Dungeon on Nightmare. Going to consider this one completely finished. I played around with the ludo mod to see if I could cheat to get one of the achievements - 200 coins from last stand mode, but it did not work. Typically I would not cheat to get an achievement, but when we were playing Last Stand we got five coins, in about an hour and a half game.

Saints Row 4 - PC - Coop with buddy - About to save Johnny Gat.

Crowntakers - Phone - I can consistently get to the end boss second form. I will get him one of these times.

Torchlight II - PC - Coop with the wife - Act 3 Emberworks.

Paper Mario - Phone/Emulator - Game glitches out after first King Goomba, trying to find a workaround.

Finally got past the first real boss in Nioh (Hino Enma), and got through the next mission after that (which had a couple more). My collection of glowing stuffed animals grows.

So much Blood Bowl today. I played it ALL day (really, all day), and I think I've finally noticed what's actually wrong with the AI. There are like only two or three AI strategies, but it seems to assign them totally randomly per drive or per match, no matter what race the AI is playing. I've seen Skaven (a running, squishy team) play like Dwarves (tough, slow moving team) do, making player cages and trying to run slowly down the pitch, but because they're not Dwarves I just pummel them into the ground Xp

DESPITE THAT, it's still just so damn satisfying to play. Maybe it's because the 360 achievements give me some kind of goal to work towards, but it's very fun to see just how hard I can win, and by how much I can deplete the opposition of players :P
One more day of like, non-stop playing and I'll probably have finished what I intend to, but damn, it's been a run ride.
