Wii fully ejects discs til they fall out
I have a Wii that works just fine, accepts discs and reads them, but when it ejects the disc it (the disc) falls completely out. Functionally it's not a big deal, but it bugs me and I'd really like to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to take care of this issue? I don't know my way around th...

Re: Mega CD RAM Cart on US Sega CD?
Finally got a Mega CD RAM cart and it does work on a US system. It doesn't fit in the cartridge slot, even with a 32X, so I got a copy of Pat Riley Basketball and took a heat gun the the label to peel it off really easily. I then swapped the boards so the RAM was inside the US cart, and slapped on t...

Re: Console A/V through a PC to HDTV?
Are you looking for a way to record your game play, or just a way for your picture to look better? I use one of these guys for my setup, and it looks really good. m If you want to record and can't figure out a way to do it without lag (and don't want to use an emulator), then you can just use a spli...

Re: Japanese Style Arcade Stick Balltop on NES Advantage
yeah, I'm thinking of a red ball top or a gray one to match the Nintendo theme.
I hadn't considered greasing it, but I'll try it out.

Japanese Style Arcade Stick Balltop on NES Advantage
Hey all! For you guys who like using the NES Advantage, but want something just a little different, I just took mine apart and the stick looked like it would accept a Sanwa/Seimitsu balltop, so I gave it a shot and it works! My Advantages are in pieces at the moment as I'm cleaning them up, but I ca...

Re: How to disassemble SNES controller plug?
You're my favorite person. I'll give it a shot tonight and post results. Thanks! Edit: Yeah, that method rocks! I just did 4 or 5 of them to try it out and make sure I've got it down. I cut up an extra paperclip and do the last step on both sides because it makes it easier for me. Now I can install ...

Re: How to disassemble SNES controller plug?
Sonic, what did you use to push the tabs in? The two that are on the hinged side are easy, but the two stiff ones I can't push in far enough. I guess the real problem is that I can't push them all in at the same time while pulling the casing apart.

Re: How to disassemble SNES controller plug?
I got one opened the other day, but made it pretty ugly in the process. I used it as an experiment since it was already messed up before I tried. It showed me how the buggers work, and they really didn't want to make this very easy. Two of the tabs are incredibly difficult to move, while the other t...

Re: SNES game innards inside a SFC cart case?
Cool. Thanks for the confirmation.
I wonder if the JP case changes how far the pins stick out or something, and that's why the cart wouldn't work on a SFC after your swap?
