Re: Post Your Dig Dug High Scores

I think we are going to swap out to the next game soon, so I took some time to improve my score. My goal was breaching 100k, ideally 120k where I believed I'd get another extra. I succeeded in both, but I don't think I got an extra at 120k (excuse me for not paying attention ) So my best score is 1...

I'm apparently late too. Never heard of it! Been having lots of fun playing over the past few days so thanks for pointing it out.

Re: The memories of VHS

My parents bought this beast back in the day (random, borrowed pic): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3054/2856235818_28a82f7a2c_o.jpg I'm not sure the exact year but it couldn't have been later than 1980. It was super, super expensive at the time- $800!!! We were the first person I knew who owned one...

Re: Suggest Ways To Make Together Retro More Interactive

I think focusing on score based games is a good idea too. Games like Defender and Dig Dug don't take that long to play so you can squeeze a round or two in if you've only got a few minutes. (Of course, you have to sink some time into them if you want to get those high scores!) Everyone has other gam...

Re: the new metallica

Master of Puppets is their best, hands down. I'm one of those who feels that everything before Black was good, and that Black and everything since has gotten progressively worse (I am not a fan of Black - it marked the beginning of the end for a solid band and is grossly overrated). Their last 2-3 ...

I'm planning on sticking to the single path now.
I don't think we're ready for two games at once.

Looks good! I like how it's spread out to more or less a game a month.

Re: Post Your Dig Dug High Scores

Good job, Ack! I'm done for the day and here's where I stand: xbox (namco museum): 31,480 gba (namco museum - 50th anniversary): 25,990 The gba version seems a bit harder. The lil' guy is definitely slower overall and the controls aren't as responsive. Oh, and my kids bailed on me. They were sucked ...

Re: Together Retro: Dig Dug

BTW, I think it's awesome you're getting your kids involved. If you want to post their scores on here, that's cool too I'm gonna try to get my wife into it as she enjoys Pac-Man. She can be quite good, so it will be interesting to see if she can school us as our own games Daddy's running the leader...
