Together Retro: Dig Dug

Post by racketboy »

I used to love this game as a kid -- but I do need to polish up my skills.

I played an NES version via emulation. I first played this on a namco museum cart on my n64

Anybody got any idea of how many versions there are, what consoles they released for, and what is the general difficulty level of each?

I think I've played it a few times -- I don't remember being disappointed with it...

For anyone with a PS2, the versions on Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Collection is quite good. It's emulated but done well.

Namco Museum Vol. 3 for the PS1 is also good version IIRC, despite being a recreation. It was developed by Namco not outsourced. I spent a lot of time playing DD on that disc!
