Re: Your Top 5 Favorite Shmups?
This is a tough one. I Have to say: 1) Geki-oh shooting king(sheinryu). My first real drive into the genre I paid $3 for it and still have to say it's awesome. 2) Ikaruga. loved the style and last boss really told me the story 3)Lords of thunder(sega CD Ver.). That MUSIC! 4)Border down. I just enjoy...

Re: favorite controller for fighting games
this is a toughie. For pads If it's 2d, the saturn pad. easy. the 3x3 helps for links and chains. But 3d it has to be the dualshock pads. weird. But my favorite controller for fighting games is my modded SF4 TE. I modded the stick to have a very heavy spring and enlarged the actuator for faster moti...

Mischief makers Is a definite buy. Been wanting that for myself. As for RE2, She owns the Dreamcast, ps1 and gamecube versions.....Might pass on it.......The rest sound like she'll love them. Thanks again. And keep em coming. Cost is not an issue(I won't buy bangai-o because I already have the DC ve...

you really can't go wrong with any game. But the last Blade for NGPC is one of my favorites.

Re: Is Gamestop Evil? The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
I made a recent trip to gamestop and had a few unnerving things to point out. As I walked in, a rather large "wall" of boxes was about 4 feet from the door. It was about 3 foot high and 9 feet across. I had to walk around the "used Console" boxes that were shoved in my face. Very...

Re: Favorite Games to Play when Sick
The last time I was sick I was recouping from a reaction to black mold in a house I was working on. the initial sickness was too much for me to play a game (103.2 fever) but when I was recouping I found twinstick shooters and metal slug helped quite a bit.
And choplifter.

Re: Systems you don't like.
I'm Not Fan of the Original Playstation. the library is solid, But the hardware is everywhere. The smaller PSone was pretty reliable in my experience. I rarely have any need to hook it up though. I'm not saying the hardware is bad, So much as saying its been built in to the ps2 and 3 that i find ow...

Re: Arcade Sticks
Hori FS3's work on both PC and PS3. the later model PS3 TE's (I.E ROUND 2 and Marvel) are said to work on PCs. the Round one only works on PCs with an Intel chipset in their Mobo. I use a dual mod I built out of a Tatsunoko v capcom stick. I used seimitsu buttons and a Ls-32 Joystick. the light, fas...
