My favorite message board, SegaXtreme has a poll & discussion going on whether 2D or 3D is preferred for gaming. Obviously, some game require 3D, but I and many others have come to conclusion that a 2D environment can make an excellent game.

IGN has a nice little feature showing the GBA’s new classic NES series utilizing it’s wireless capabilities. This looks to be a nice feature for classic multiplayer gaming on the go!
