Since it's kind of hard to wade through all the stuff on Community Games -- there's a lot of crap -- I thought I would put in a good word for a game I've been getting a kick out of, Easy Golf. It's a nice little Hot Shots-style arcade golf game. It's simple to jump into because iof the old-school "three click" interface and it is actually a bit more stripped down than Hot Shots. Polished graphics and menus. And, the best part is the course editor. It's pretty easy to jump in and start making your own holes. Here's a video explainer from the dev's Web site.

The game comes with 27 holes (plus one or two demo holes) and it's 800 points, or $10. Some people have balked at the price online, but it's well worth it IMO. There's a small but cool group of people making courses, and if you play a course with someone online, it downloads to your HDD and you can play it anytime. I spent some time on Live with the developer and others last night and within minutes I had over 100 new holes to play. One of the coolest parts of the game is the developer is online, helping people get new holes and get into the game. This is the only game that I know of on XBLA or XNA that features user-generated content sharing.
No, I don't have anything to do with the developer, and I don't know the guy from Adam. But the game was basically made a single guy using XNA and I think it's damn cool that he's been on Live and on forums taking feedback (and actually using it for improvements) and making sure people are enjoying his game. I like supporting stuff like this, and I though others here on RB might, too. This a perfect chill game to hop online and have fun with. Just thought I'd recommend since MS does such a poor job of promoting the good XNA titles.
