Joystiq has it:

Looks very cool -- too bad I'll probably never see it in real life :(

1Up wrote about it. Each cabinet costs 50 grand... there is no way in hell we're gonna see that. Then again... we do have HL2 on PC.

But you would have to admit it would be cool to sit in that seat and using those custom controls.

Oh hell yeah. But 50 grand.... 4 of those is enough to buy an expensive italian sports car!

... or possibly a small village in Rwanda.

Wow -- that really puts things in perspective :)
I wonder how much it cost to play. I guess not 25 cents... :)

This game was *not* meant to be played in arcades.

Yes it wasn't, that's what makes it so tempting. It's like forbidden fruit for the arcades.

Dude, these things are actually suppossed to be not all that good. Ign wii didn't like it too much, tho they aren't necesarrily the judge of arcade games...

I actually think it would have been cooler if it had been a standard light gun game which used the gravity gun as the main weapon. that woulda rocked. :P

i downloaded the videos - tbh I aint that into it - $50,000 for a widescreen tv and a joystick with a z/rudder axis? and a Celeron PC with a Radeon:

OS : Windows XP Embedded (customized)
CPU : Celeron 2.5Ghz (upgradable to Pentium 4 2.8GHz)
FSB : 400MHz (Upgradable to 800MHz)
Chipset : Intel 865G
Memory : DDR266 DIMM 256MB (upgradable to DDR400 2GB)
Graphics Board : AGP Radeon 9200SE (128 MB) through to X800XT (256 MB) (complete ATI Radeon Range)

Im glad to see Valve making as much money as possible, cos they deserve it , but as far as Im concerned, theres only ONE way to play FPS's - Mouse and Keys

Reminds me of this:

although tbh I think the Quake one is cooler ;)
