I know there was a topic like this around Christmastime, but I was wondering about valentines day since its the "more romantic" holiday.
The games I'm getting my significant other (that he knows about) are:
Virtual boy system
Mario Tennis
Space Invaders Virtual Collection
Wario Land
Plus I got him Golden Axe: Beast Rider to hold him over til the actual holiday comes. Did anyone else get their bf/gf games or are we just an odd couple?
Is anyone buying games for Valentines Day Presents?

I hinted to my girlfriend how cool Sonic's genesis collection is going to be, and that it's only $30. She saw it came out only a few days before valentine's day, so I think I might get lucky and she'll give me that. But other than that (and last christmas, with valkyria chronicles), i've never gotten a video game as a gift with 3+ years of dating

lol I guess it depends on who you talk to. We go out to eat and stuff, but it's fun to give each other something that makes us happy.Haoie wrote:Wow.

Im going to get my girl Luigis Mansion for gamecube. She recently mentioned that she use to have so much fun playing it and how cute it is. its the only game she has ever played on gamecube except donkey konga so I think ill get it for her. Of course that wont be it! Dinner, flowers, and some romance will be involved as well. I just think it will show her that I can have my hobby and she can have some fun with it too!

We don't do valentines day. It's the most pointless holiday ever. We've been together coming up to 5 years and I've never once bought her anything on valentine's day. I couldn't even tell you when it is. I have no idea what day it's on. In fact I'm not even sure what month it is...
Fuck buying gifts for one day out of the year just because society deems it necessary. I remember the special days in our relationships and get gifts then.

Yea, there's little point in focusing just on Valentine's Day- my significant other and I tend to avoid the world around that time, anyway. I have bought him games before as he has bought some for me. Since his birthday is around Valentine's I tend to treat that part of the month as a generic holiday of giving between the two of us.
Also, he's too indecisive to pinpoint anything he wants at the moment. *hint*

What? Most things I want I end up just buying myself. You really want to know what I want babe? I'll send you a list of stuff I've been kicking around.vejita wrote:Also, he's too indecisive to pinpoint anything he wants at the moment. *hint*

Yeah, about the same here. Though it wouldn't surprise me if we played a little Left 4 Dead, Earth Defense Force, etc. at some point too.Unleaded Logic wrote:Nahhh. The wife and I pretty much just do dinner and then...well.......you know...
