Linking GoldenEye 007?

Post by slowslow325 »

Is it possible to link two N64s so that in multiplayer one player's screen appears on one TV and the other's on another?

If not that, is it possible to link one (or two) N64(s) to two TVs and have the same thing appear on both TVs?

The best attempt at that I can find is creating a lead that attaches the n64 to two television screens and then covering the other player's screen on your TV.

Edit: It seems some guys have been able to do it, but claim the process is very expensive. I'm researching more now.

I was planning on covering the screens if I couldn't do it the other way. That's why I asked the second question.

However could someone elaborate on the way to make the n64 appear on both screens (the same thing on both)

To show the same thing on two tvs you just need an rca y cable, ie:

You can buy them at most any electronic store, and some grocery stores. You will need an all female one, or some female/female gender changers.

To split the signal will require a video wall controller, or some similar device. The cheapest way to do this is a pc with a video input card and several graphic cards - an actual controller is several thousand dollars. If someone has found a cheaper or easier way to do this I am all ears, I have been looking for sometime for tournament purposes.
