Is Power Stone 1 & 2 any fun as a one player game?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Is Power Stone 1 & 2 any fun as a one player game?

Post by Scooter »

I've always wanted to pick up Power Stone 1 and 2 for my Dreamcast but they are hard to come by and kind of pricey when they do show up. I found the Power Stone Collection (PS 1 and 2) for PSP in the bargain bin at Best Buy for $15. Reviews state that these are direct ports of the DC games.

My big question is: are they fun as one player games? I rarely play multi-player games so I'd be playing these by myself. Are they still worth the time? I've heard they are a blast as a multi-player, just never any comments on the one player aspects.

I like 1 a lot as a single-player. But like most fighting games, its best with 2 players.

Well, for $15 it doesn't sound like I can go too wrong. I love playing fighters by myself. Virtua Fighter on 32X is still one of my favorites. It may look dorky, but it plays great.

Its fun regardless of the # of players. And $15 is a great deal do yourself a favor, buy it.

2 player is always more fun with fighting games,

but you can pass the time with 1 player as well.

i tested it out only
it seems a ton of fun as multiplayer
am not sure why it didnt hit the xbl and psn yet?
even selling it a full new power stone 3 copy will sure turn heads, it can be the rival of super smash
